Manuelle Messung

Bei der manuellen Messung wird die Probenahme durch den Bedie-
ner des Gerätes manuell ausgelöst.
Dadurch ist ein Einsatz auch bei beschränkt kooperationsfähigen
Testpersonen möglich, die nicht in der Lage sind, auf Veranlassung in
das Mundstück zu blasen oder eine ausreichende Atemprobe abzu-
geben.
Das messbereite Gerät ohne Mundstück
in die zu analysierende Luft halten.

eine gemessene Alkoholkonzentration.

Hinweis:
Bei der Interpretation des Messergebnisses einer manuellen
Messung ist folgendes zu beachten.
Bei sehr kleinem abgegebenem Atemvolumen ist die analy-
sierte Atemluft eine Mischung aus Lungenluft und Luft aus den
oberen Atemwegen. Die gemessene Konzentration ist deshalb
im Vergleich zur Blutalkoholkonzentration geringer.
Bei einer Messung ohne Mundstück kann es zusätzlich zu einer
Vermischung der Atemluft mit Umgebungsluft kommen,
wodurch die Atemluft verdünnt wird und deshalb die gemessene
Konzentration kleiner als die Konzentration in der Atemluft wird.

Manual measurement

During the manual measurement the sampling system is manually
activated by the user of the instrument.
This enables the use of the instrument also with persons being tested
who are limited in their cooperation capabilities and are not able to
blow into the mouthpiece on request or to deliver a sufficient breath
sample.
Hold the instrument without a mouth-
piece into the air to be analyzed.
Press the - button shortly.

When the result is displayed a measured
alcohol concentration is indicated additio-
nally.

Note:
For the interpretation of the measuring result of a manual mea-
surement the following has to be considered.
For a very small delivered breath volume the analysed breath air
is a mixture of lung air and air from the upper respiratory tract.
Therefore, the measured concentration is smaller compared to
the blood alcohol concentration.
For a manual measurement without mouthpiece additionally a
mixture of breath air with ambient air can occur, whereby the
breath air is diluted and therefore the measured concentration
is smaller than the concentration in the breath air.
