Replacing the Battery

Replace the battery pack installed in your Versa SX system as follows.
which they are designed. Also, installing another
manufacturer's battery, or using a combination of very old
and new batteries can deteriorate battery and equipment
performance.
1. Save your files, exit Windows, and press the
suspend or turn off system power.
2. Close the LCD and turn the system over.
3. Slide and hold the battery latch and lift the edge of the battery out of the
notebook as shown below.

4. Insert the new battery as follows:

Locate the alignment groove tabs on the end of the battery opposite the
terminals.

Locate the alignment grooves inside the battery bay at the end opposite
the terminals.

Fit the battery alignment tabs into the grooves inside the bay.
n
Lower the battery into the battery compartment while at the same time
slide the battery lock lever out of the way and press gently to secure the
terminal connections. Release the lock latch and your Versa battery is
installed.
