Preparation for Disassembly

Turn off and disconnect all power and all options, including the AC adapter (if
connected) and remove the battery, VersaBay III device and memory module
bay cover to ready the notebook for disassembly.
Battery
Remove the battery pack installed in the Versa SX system as follows.

1. Close the LCD panel and turn the system over.
2. Slide the battery release latch as shown below.
