Step 4. Fine-Tuning Camera Adjustments
The camera is supplied with a BNC test adapter that plugs into the
camera test port. This allows for viewing the output of the camera on a
monitor or the WPS-CCTV-TESTER (not included). Use this connection to
view and adjust the camera's positioning, zoom, and focus directly from
the installed location.
BNC Test Adapter
A. Remove the plate located at the rear of the cameras, just before the
camera's base to access the BNC test adapter connection.
B. Connect the BNC test adapter to the camera.
C. Connect the BNC on the adapter to a monitor or WPS-CCTV-TESTER video
in.
D. Adjust the camera's rotation, swivel, and angle as defined in step 1
and secure the set screws using the supplied 3mm Allen key.
E. Adjust the camera's zoom (closest to the lens) using the supplied 3mm
Allen key.
F. Adjust the camera's focus (furthest from the lens) using the supplied
3mm Allen key.
G. Once the zoom and focus are adjusted, disconnect the BNC test
adapter and replace the plate removed in step 4-A.
