Step 3: Check POWER indicator of the switch to see whether it is on. If it is on, it
indicates that the power cord is correctly connected.
Caution:
Before powering on the switch, connect the ground wire.

3.2.2 Connecting DC Power Cord

DC Power range:
Rated voltage:-48- -60V d.c.
Maximum tolerance:-36- -72V d.c.
NEG(-): -48V

Step 1: Connect one end of the chassis group cable, which is attached to the switch
in delivery, to the grounding screw on the rear panel of the switch. Ground the other
end to the nearest connecting point.
Step 2: Connect the DC power terminals of the switch to the corresponding terminals
of the -48V DC power system with power cord, with NEG(-) to the -48V input and
RTN(+) to the working ground of the -48V power supply.
Note:
In connecting power cords to the DC power terminals of the switch, first screw off the terminal screw and
insert the power cord, then screw on it.
Step 3: Check the state of the PWR LED on the front panel. ON means the power
cords are connected correctly.
