Removing and Replacing the Transceiver Board

This product contains static-sensitive devices. Use anti-static handling procedures
to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) and component damage.
1.
Remove the battery cover, battery, antenna, rear escutcheon, and rear housing
as described in the procedures
2.
Using the flat end of the disassembly tool, carefully loosen the transceiver
board from the front housing.

Lift the transceiver board from the front housing as shown in Figure 14.
4.
To replace, align the transceiver board with the front housing and gently press
into place.
Ensure the keypad and the volume, voice, and power buttons are correctly posi-
tioned in the front housing relative to the transceiver board. Verify operation of the
buttons after replacing the transceiver board.
5.
Replace the rear housing, rear escutcheon, antenna, SIM card, battery, and
battery cover as described in the procedures.
