NFP Storage Manager 1.1 User's Manual
Disk Write Cache
System administrator can turn on or off all the hard disk write cache
on this page.
This setup will take effect only if the server hard disk supports cache
memory.
If hard disk Write Cache option is turned on, the system
read/write performance will improve. However, i t may result in data
loss if any unanticipated power failure occurs. If the system utilizes
UPS, then we suggest that you turn on this selection.
