This system software does not support "Telnet". The system
administrator of NFS client must use the mount command to point
to NP1040 NAS server:
mount
IP:/Shared_Folder_Path
Whereby IP is the IP address of NP1040 NAS server;
Shared_Folder_Path is the folder to be shared with the NFS client,
set to /volumen/Shared_Folder_Name by default, and Mount_Point
is set by the UNIX administrator.
For example, if the system administrator wants to link /user1 to the
public1 folder of NP1040 NAS server (i.e. /volume1/public1), and
the IP address of the NP1040 NAS server is 192.168.1.8, the
command would be:
mount
192.168.1.8:/volume1/public1
Account Setup
NASolution NP1040 supports up to 512 user accounts (Including
accounts on the local machine, Windows PDC, and NIS server).
Three types of users can access a NAS server:
Local users with accounts on the local machine.
