System Problems

Boot failure
There are two possibilities that could cause a system reboot failure.
If the system administrator has ever added NP 1040 NAS server

It takes a long time to start the server and it seems to be
a boot failure.
If NP1040 NAS server is improperly shut down when still operating,
the system will automatically check the file system when the server is
restarted, which would cause a delay in booting. The more data are
saved on the server, the longer the system check process will take.
It probably takes from several minutes to several hours, and
sometimes users tend to regard it as a boot failure.
If NFP Setup Assistant cannot find the server after booting or if
clients cannot access NP1040 NAS server, check the LED on the
server. If the HDD LED's keep blinking, it means that the system is
