Group Setup
User Group
Use this page to add, modify or delete user groups. Network Filer
Plus allows up to 128 user groups (including user groups on the local
machine, Windows PDC, and NIS server).
The name of a group cannot exceed 15 characters. The name can
be formed by double-byte character languages, the same as the
language of the NFP Storage Manager interface, such as Traditional
Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese or Korean, etc., single-byte
languages such as English, German, Spanish, etc., numbers, decimal
point, "underscore", and "minus sign". The first character however
cannot be "minus sign". The name is not case sensitive.
Please note:
When naming a group in languages other than English, please input
the same language as the NFP Storage Manager interface to ensure
correct coding. Thus, when interface language is Japanese, group
names can only be both Japanese and English.
Similarly, if the
interface language is German, then group names can only be German
