Graphics Controller

The X9DRW-iF features an integrated Renesas Base-board Controller (BMC) chip,
which also acts as a video controller.

Other Features

Other onboard features that promote system health include onboard voltage
monitors, auto-switching voltage regulators, chassis and CPU overheat sensors,
power management, AC power loss recovery, virus protection and BIOS rescue.

Server Chassis Features

The SC213A-R740WB is a Supermicro's 2U chassis that features sixteen (16) 2.5"
hard drive bays, a bay for one slim DVD and one bay for a USB/COM Port Bay.
The chassis is also equipped with a redundant power supply for outstanding power
savings, with specially designed optimized cooling.
The following is a general outline of the main features of the SC213A-R740WB
chassis.

System Power

When confi gured as a SUPERSERVER 2027R-WRF, the SC213A-R740WB chassis
includes a redundant 740 Watt power supply.

Hard Drive Subsystem

The SC213A-R740WB chassis was designed to support sixteen hot-swap SATA/
SAS hard drives.

PCI Expansion Slots

The riser card (RSC-R2UW-4E8-O-P) installed on the serverboard on the side of
the chassis can support four (4) PCI-E 3.0 x8 slots (two full-height full-length, two
full-height half-length).

Front Control Panel

The SC213A-R740WB control panel provides important system monitoring and
control information. LEDs indicate power on, network activity, hard disk drive activity
and a UID (Universal Information) LED. Also present are a main power button, a
system reset button and a UID button.
