INSTALLING THE TOP COVER

1. Install:
• Top cover brackets
Top cover bracket bolt
7 Nm (0.7 m·kgf, 5.1 ft·lbf)
LOCTITE®
TIP
First, tighten the bolts on the front side of the top
cover bracket, and then on the rear side.
2. Install:
• Top cover
M MMM M MMM M M MMM M M MMM M
a. Install the top cover bolts "1" temporarily.
b. Tighten top cover bolts "1" and "2".
Top cover bolt "1"
1.5 Nm (0.15 m·kgf, 1.1 ft·lbf)
Top cover bolt "2"
7 Nm (0.7 m·kgf, 5.1 ft·lbf)
