DATA IN requires a 5-pin, female XLR connector and DATA THRU requires a 5-pin, male XLR connector. When purchasing or constructing data cables, it is important that not only the correct cable type be used, but also quality cable to ensure a reliable DMX512 system.

The pan tube base provides two mounting holes for attaching truss hooks or other mounting hardware as required.

    Power-Up and Configuration Overview First Power-Up When powering up a VL1000 luminaire for the first time, the lamp type and shutter settings must be configured. This procedure will usually happen prior to delivery. However, in the event that it has not been done or if the Main Controller Board has been replaced, it will be necessary.
