10) MACHINE MOVEMENT

These machines are equipped with driven
traction wheels or brush assist propulsion. The
machines with driven wheels have two speeds
forward and one speed backwards. To move
either style machine forward, turn the key ON,
wait for 3 seconds and then rotate forward lever
(1) on the handle bar. To reverse the machines
with driven wheels rotate backwards lever (1).
To reverse the machines with brush assist
propulsion pull backwards on the handle bar.
The machines with driven wheel have two
forward speeds. The first forward speed is
obtained by rotating level (1) forward a few
degrees. The second and faster speed is
obtained by rotating lever (1) all the way forward.
WARNING! Always lift the squeegee
when moving backwards.
11) OVER FILL PROTECTION
The machine is equipped with a float that stops
the vacuum exhaust air flow when the recovery
tank is full. When this occurs, empty the
recovery tank by removing the plug on the drain
hose.
WARNING! Use gloves for protection
from contact with dangerous solutions.
12) BRAKE
The machine is equipped with a braking system.
To brake in normal working conditions, release
the lever on the handle bar and the machine will
stop. In case of an emergency, push down on
brake level (2). This brake is also a parking
brake.
