8 Disposal
If the refrigerator needs to be placed out of service, it must not be disposed
of as household waste but taken to a refuse recycling centre. This is shown by
the symbol on the product label. Use specialist waste collection centres
that are certified according to current standards. If not correctly disposed
of, the product can be harmful to the environment on account of the specific
substances it contains. The refrigerant inside the system must not be disposed
of with normal waste. Incorrect disposal or illegal dumping of the product will
lead to severe legal penalties of an administrative and/or criminal nature, as
envisaged by current laws.
