Electric Fuel Pump

An electric fuel pump is mounted in the gas
tank to deliver gasoline to the fuel injector.
The fuel pump operates when the ignition
switch is turned to ON or START position.

Gas Hoses

Replace the gas hose every two years. Dam-
age from aging may not always be visible.

Oil Level Stick

There is an oil level stick for checking
the engine oil level. To check the oil
level, use the following procedure.

NOTE: The vehicle should be on
level ground when checking the
engine oil level.
1. Remove the access cover; then
unscrew the oil level stick and wipe it
with a clean cloth.
2. Install the oil level stick.

NOTE: The oil level stick should be
threaded in for checking purposes.
3. Remove the oil level stick; the engine
oil level should be within the operat-
ing range.
