6. Activate the remote control

1. Take out the remote control and
the batteries from their packaging.
2. Turn the remote control upside
d ow n , an d op e n t he b atte r y
compartment cover by using a
small coin or similarly object
to turn the cover 90° counter-
clockwise. The cover, with a spring
attached to it, will pop open.
3.Put the supplied batteries into the
compartment with their positive
and negative ends matched with
the (+) and (-) marks on the
compartment.
Note: The batteries supplied are for
you to operate the TV right out of
box and not for the long term use.
You should replace them with new
ones as soon as possible.
4. Replace the cover with the hinge
fit into the gap on the inner edge.
Press down the cover into position
w it h t he t hu mb of t he hand
holding the remote control.
5. With the cover being pressed
down, use a small coin or similarly
obj e c t to tu r n t he c ove r 9 0 °
clockwise into the locking position
with your other free hand.
