INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Locate BBQ away from combustible materials or surfaces either above or around the BBQ.
2. Make sure the BBQ is on firm level ground.
Minimum TOP clearance: 1000mm.
Minimum SIDE clearance: 400mm.
3. This BBQ is intended for outdoor gas use only. Do not use indoors or on marine craft.
4. The hose must be attached to the BBQ and a gas bottle. No regulator is required. This is a high pressure appliance.
5. Once connected check for leaks using soapy water around the connection. This BBQ is designed to be used with a
3/8" left hand thread fitting cylinder and this fitting must be tight. NOTE: Once the male fitting of the hose has
been securely connected to the female thread of the burner inlet on the underside of the barbecue, you
may notice the hose is loose and freely rotatable within the male fitting. This is normal and to be expected
as this connection need not be gas tight for your barbecue to function properly. The hose must be kept clear
of the appliance as much as possible. Do not let the hose touch the appliance other than the brass connections.
6. The two holes in the male hose fitting are air inlets that allow the proper amount of air to mix with gas to create
optimum combustion. To ensure best performance, always check these two holes for blockage by dirt or other
debris and clean with a pipe cleaner or similar apparatus as needed. Do not alter the male fitting in any way.
Tampering with this component can affect combustion and nullifies any warranty.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Remove the BBQ plate.
2. Turn on the gas supply at the cylinder and light burner.
3. Replace the hot plate.
4. After use, turn off the gas supply and the cylinder.
5. Scrape down BBQ plate. It is advisable to brush the hot plate with a light coating of cooking oil to help it from rusting
whilst not in use.
6. When BBQ is cool, remove BBQ plate and clean grease cup.
NOTE: Do not move BBQ whilst it is in operation. Ensure the BBQ has cooled down before handling.
NOTE: The powder coat finish can be affected by the heat and may cause the bowl to discolor slightly.
SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Injectors may need to be cleaned if they become blocked. This can be done using a primus pricker available at most
hardware stores.
2. The burner can be unscrewed and removed from the bowl for cleaning.
3. "O" rings in the hose assembly can be removed and replaced if necessary.
4. Use warm soapy water to clean the BBQ bowl. Do not use solvents or other industrial cleaners when cleaning as
this may damage the finish of the bowl.
