INSTALLATION OF THE COOKING
HOB
The furniture walls adjacent to the
cooking hob must be necessarily of
material resistant to heat.
The veneered synthetical material
and the glue used must be resistant
to a temperature of 120°C in order to
avoid ungluings or deformations.
To built-in the cooking hob it is neces-
sary to cut out the working top according
to the dimensions shown in the figures,
bearing in mind that:
– a minimum clearance of 30 mm has to
be kept between the bottom of the
cooking hob and the top of an appli-
ance or a shelf;
– it is absolutely essential that you place
a separator between the base of the
cooktop and the bulit-in unit or the
oven;
– any wall at the side of the cooking hob
must keep a distance of 200 mm mini-
mum;
– the back wall must be at a distance of
60 mm minimum;

It is recommended that a 30 mm clear-
ance be left between the cooker top and
the fixture surface (fig. 4.3).
