Installation
The following section describes the installation procedures used with the RD-300/RD-232.
2.1
Mounting
The standard NEMA 4X enclosure is a JIC standard 8" X 6" pattern. It is approximately 8" high, 9.5" wide, 5.25"
deep, and weighs 4 lb. Mounting is via four mounting holes on 8.75" horizontal by 4" vertical centers. Use 1/4"
hardware (not furnished) and mount the enclosure securely. The enclosure is hinged on the bottom side of the
box. The installation environment is not critical, but the RD-300/RD-232 should be located as far as practical
from major sources of electromagnetic interference (EMI) or radio frequency interference (RFI). Also, care must
be taken to ensure that the front panel display is easily visible.
