Some server models come with a slim SATA optical drive.

If your server is installed in a rack cabinet, you can use the rack handles to help you slide the server out
of the rack cabinet; or use the rack handles and screws to secure the server in the rack cabinet so that
the server cannot slide out, especially in vibration-prone areas. For more information, refer to the Rack
Installation Instructions that comes with your server.

Front panel
This topic applies only to the following server models:
• Server models with eight 3.5-inch hard-disk-drive bays
• Server models with 2.5-inch hard-disk-drive bays
For server models with twelve 3.5-inch hard-disk-drive bays, the front USB connectors are integrated into
the left rack handle; and the front controls and LEDs are integrated into the right rack handle. See "Front
view of server models with twelve 3.5-inch hard-disk-drive bays" on page 18 for detailed information.
The following illustration shows the controls, connectors, and LEDs on the front panel of the server. To locate
