Answering system settings
Announcement
An announcement is the greeting callers hear when calls are answered by
the answering system.
The telephone is preset with a greeting that answers calls with "Hello, please
leave a message after the tone." You can use this default announcement, or
replace it with your own.
Play your announcement
MENU

The handset displays ANNOUNCEMENT. Press PLAY.
Record your own announcement

The handset displays ANNOUNCEMENT. Press RECORD.

The handset announces, "Record after the tone. Press
STOP when you are done." After the tone, speak towards
the microphone of the handset.

when you finish recording.

The handset automatically plays back the newly recorded announcement.
Press
STOP
to stop the playback at any time. After the announcement
playback, press
to record again, if desired.
NOTES:
•
Your announcement can be up to 90 seconds in length.
•
Announcements shorter than two seconds are not recorded.
