This Chapter explains the settings available via the Administration section of
the menu.

5.1 Overview

Normally, it is not necessary to use these screens, or change any settings. These screens and
settings are provided to deal with non-standard situations, or to provide additional options for
advanced users.
The available settings and features are:

Config File

Backup or restore the configuration file for the BLW-54PM. This file
contains all the configuration data.
Logs
View or clear all logs, set E-Mailing of log files.
Network
Ping, DNS Lookup.
Diagnostics
Options
Various options, such as backup DNS, UPnP, and enable TFTP firmware
upgrade option.
PC Database
This is the list of PCs shown when you select the DMZ PC or a Virtual
Server. This database is maintained automatically, but you can add and
delete entries for PCs which use a Fixed (Static) IP Address.
Remote
Allow settings to be changed from the Internet..
Administration
Routing
Only required if your LAN has other Routers or Gateways.
Security
Firewall and other security-related settings. Normally, the default settings
do not need to be changed.
Firmware
Upgrade the Firmware (software) installed in your BLW-54PM.
Upgrade
5.2 Config File
This feature allows you to download the current settings from the BLW-54PM, and save them
to a file on your PC.
You can restore a previously-downloaded configuration file to the BLW-54PM, by uploading it
to the BLW-54PM.
This screen also allows you to set the BLW-54PM back to its factory default configuration.
Any existing settings will be deleted.
