Problem
The steam valve
was pushed down
and connected to
the
cappuccinatore,
but no steam
comes out. Milk is
not heated up or
frothed.
No milk froth comes
out of the
cappuccinatore.
Possible cause and remedy
The steam valve is blocked.
^ Open the appliance door.
^ Push the steam valve down and pull the rubber sleeve off
downwards.
^ Using the small end of the capsule hopper tool, turn it
clockwise to remove the tip of the steam valve.
^ Clean the tip thoroughly and then screw it back on again.
The spout on the lid has been pulled out (|). Milk will be
frothed in the cappuccinatore jug.
^ Push the spout in (H).
The lid of the cappuccinatore is not correctly assembled.
^ Follow the instructions in "Cleaning and care -
Cappuccinatore".
The milk pipework in the cappuccinatore is blocked.
^ Clean the cappuccinatore carefully (see "Cleaning and
care - Cappuccinatore").
