Possible cause and remedy
A capsule is not visible on the capsule plate:
The capsule is probably stuck in the brew unit.

Danger of injury! Do not touch the inside of the brew
unit. Use a spoon handle or similar instead.
^ Try to remove the capsule in the upper section of the brew
unit with the spoon.
^ Put all parts back in the machine and close the door.
If this fault message appears in the display again, or you
cannot remove the capsule, call Miele.
