4. USE

4.1 – STARTING UP THE MACHINE
• Verify that the water supply tap located for the ma-
chine is open.
• Verify that the magneto-thermal differential switch
for the machine is at the "ON" position.
• Verify that the boiler water level, as shown by the
indicator (1), is somewhere between minimum
"MIN" and maximum "MAX" levels.
• Press buttons 2 and 3, which will automatically
light
up: this starts heating the boiler water; light 4 will
light up.
• Turning on the adjustable cup-heating surface:
The cup-heater can be set to:
- partial surface heating, by pressing button 5
(it will light up).
- total surface heating, by pressing buttons 5 and 6
(they will light up).
• Place the filter holders in their groups.
• Wait for the water temperature to reach the value
set, confirmed by the light (4) going out.
Verify that the boiler pressure displayed by the
gauge (7) is between 0.9-1 bar.
