Chinese Fried Vegetables
Serves: 6
¼ cup vegetable oil
4 stalks celery, sliced
2 carrots, peeled, sliced
1 cucumber, sliced
125g can bamboo shoots, drained
125g shitake mushrooms, chopped
1 cup fresh bean sprouts
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoons freshly grated ginger
1 teaspoon rice wine
1 teaspoon sesame oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1.Place oil in pan. Preheat on setting 6 for 2
minutes.
2.Add celery, carrots, cucumber, bamboo,
mushrooms and bean sprouts. Cook for 3-4
minutes or until tender.
3.Add remaining ingredients and cook for a
further 2-3 minutes. Season to taste with
salt and pepper. Serve.
