DVD Changer Audio Connections
Audio is sent from each DVD Changer that is controlled by the VIA!dvdj to:
• A Stand-Alone A/V Receiver (Home Theater)
• An ELAN Multi-Room Controller (S12, S6, or Z•630)
Configuration will vary somewhat depending on the number of Changers and the
audio system's capabilities (Surround Sound, Multi-Zone, etc.).
Stand-Alone Audio Connections-Analog
Use RCA audio cables to connect each DVD Changer to a separate Audio Input of
an A/V Receiver. Each time a different Changer is accessed, the appropriate Audio
Input must be selected. Typically an IR sequence can be built using a VIA! Touch
Panel that will automate this process. Up to four Audio Inputs may be required,
depending on the number of Changers present.
