116-396 Mail IO Soft Failure
[Detection Conditions]
Fatal error related to Mail IO
Due to an error during the software processing, the
subsequent processes cannot be performed.
[Actions]
Turn the power On/Off and perform the following if
the problem persists.
(1) Perform re-installation of the ESS software.
(2) Replace the ESS PWB (PL13.1).
116-398 IPP Soft Failure
[Detection Conditions]
Fatal error related to IPP
Due to an error during the software processing, the
subsequent processes cannot be performed.
[Actions]
Turn the power On/Off and perform the following if
the problem persists.
(1) Perform re-installation of the ESS software.
(2) Replace the ESS PWB (PL13.1).
116-399 JME Soft Failure
[Detection Conditions]
Fatal error related to JME
Due to an error during the software processing, the
subsequent processes cannot be performed.
[Actions]
Turn the power On/Off and perform the following if
the problem persists.
(1) Perform re-installation of the ESS software.
(2) Replace the ESS PWB (PL13.1).
116-701 Execute Forced Separation of Two Sides.
[Detection Conditions]
Due to insufficient memory, 2-Sided print is
impossible.
[Actions]
Expand the memory or install the HDD if the HD is
not installed.
116-702 Perform Printing by Using Substitute Font.
[Detection Conditions] Printed with a substitution font.
[Actions] No actions required.
116-703 PS Interpret Error
[Detection Conditions] An error has occurred in language
analysis
[Actions] Correct the job data.
116-710 HP-GL Spool File Overflows.
[Detection Conditions] HP-GL/2 memory overflow
[Actions]
Increase the HP-GL spool size. Or install the HDD.
116-711 PLW From Synthesis Error
[Detection Conditions]
Synthesis is impossible because the size/orientation of
the PLW form's drawing is different from that of the
paper.
[Actions]
Select the paper with the size and orientation of the
registered form.
116-712 Insufficient PLW form Capacity
[Detection Conditions]
The PLW form/logo data cannot be registered because
of the insufficient RAM or Hard Disk space.
[Actions]
Use the Operation Panel to check the registered forms/
logos, and delete unnecessary ones. Or increase the
allocated capacity of the RAM disk.

116-714 A HP-GL Command Error was Detected.
[Detection Conditions] HP-GL/2 command error
[Actions]
Correct or remove the data in the print data that causes
the error.
116-715 PLW From Registry Error
[Detection Conditions]
The PLW form data cannot be registered because of
the restriction of the number of forms.
[Actions]
Use the Operation Panel to check the registered forms,
and delete unnecessary ones. Or delete unnecessary
forms.
116-718 PLW From Registry Error
[Detection Conditions] The specified form is not registered.
[Actions]
Use a registered form, or register a necessary form.
116-720 PCL Memory Low, Page Simplified
[Detection Conditions]
Print as 1 sided , because of shortage of memory .
[Actions]
Close the port not used.
Adjust Buffer memory size, or add memory.
116-737 (Not used)
