Function Checks the functions of the Regi Control Correction system, assuming that the Regi
Control Sensor Check Cycle does not detect any errors.
• After shifting the setting value of each correction system by a certain amount (approx. +150
microns), checks whether the color shift occurs by the value each correction system
intentionally shifted by executing the A1 patch detection again. Then, displays the correction
difference results of each correction system in the UI screen.

The causes of error display are shown below.
• Sensor: Improper installation, failure
• Pattern: Density insufficient, Belt scratched
• Frame: Distortion
Reference Execution time: Approx. 75 sec.
Procedure
1. Select "Registration" tab on the Service Mode screen.
2. Select [DC684] on the Registration screen.
3. The Regi Control Correction Check Cycle screen is displayed.
4. Select [Execute].
5. In [Judgement],
OK is displayed: Complete
NG is displayed: Check the following causes and execute DC684 again.
Causes of Error
• Sensor: Improper installation, failure
• Pattern: Density insufficient, Belt scratched
• Frame: Distortion
If the result is NG again, refer to FIP to repair the trouble.
6. Select [Close] to return to the Registration screen.
