For
example
if you set the total workout time to be
30:00 minutes
the electronic
computer
will au-
tomatically
divide the total workout
time into 10
intervals equaling 3 minutes each.

TO PROGRAM
SPEED,
now the speed
window
will
be flashing
indicating
workout
speed
is ready
to program.
Next press the
SPEED/TIME
+/- BUTTONS
to adjust workout
speed.
Next press
the ENTER
BUTTON
to
' save this change.

TO START
THE WALKING
BELT,
press
the START/STOP
BUTTON
the time window
wilt count down 4 seconds.and
the walking belt
will gradually
ramp to the programmed
speed.
Also the treadmill will move to.the p.rogrammed
elevation,
and time will
start counting
down
from the programmed
time.
You may at any
time adjust the speed
of the walking
belt and
incline
grade
by simply
pressing
the corre-
sponding
SPEED+/-
BUTTONS
OR INCLINE
+/- BUTTONS.
Changes
in speed will be dis-
played in the speed window, changes in incline
will be displayed
in the incline window.
At the
conclusion
of the programmed
time, the elec-
tronics will beep 4 times, the Time window will
flash 00:00 and the calories/distance
window
will continue
to accumulate
values.
Treadmill
operation
will
continue
until
the
START/
STOP+!-
Button
is i3ressed.
If either
the
SPEED+/-BuTTON
or the INCLINE
+/- BUT-
TONS are pressed,
the treadmill wilt continue
to operate
in the manual
mode and the Time
window will show accumulated
time since the
conclusion
of programmed
time.

TO END YOUR
WORKOUT,
you have 2
choices
a.
Press the PAUSE BUTTON and the
treadmill will gradually
decrease
the speed of
the walking
belt to 0.0 mph. To restart
the
walking
belt press the PAUSE
BUTTON,
the
walking
belt will gradually
increase in speed to
the setting it was operating
before the pause button was pressed.
When in
pause
mode
the treadmill
will
automatically
power down if no button is pressed within a 5
minute time period.

Press the START/STOP
BUTTON and
the treadmill will gradually
decrease
the speed
of the walking
belt
to 0.0mph,
Press
the
POWER
BUTTON
to turn off power
to the
treadmill
.PLATEAU
MODE OPERATION
The Plateau
program
is designed
to increase
the speed and elevation
of the treadmill
during
the first time segment
(warm up segment)
and
then decrease
the speed and elevation
in the
last time segment
(cool down segment).Dudng
the Warm
Up and Coot Down segments
the
speed
and elevation
will be ramped
up and
ramped
down from ½ the programmed
maxi-
mum value.
For example,
if you desire to pro-
gram the speed to ramp up to 6mph and eleva-
tion to increase
to 8% grade,
during
the 3
minute warm up segment
the treadmill
will in-
crease the speed of the walking belt from 0.06
mph to 6mph
and move the elevation
to 8%
grade.
During the 3 minute cool down segment
the treadmill
will decrease
the speed
of the
walking belt from 6 mph to 0.06 mph and move
the elevation to 0% grade, The speed and peak
incline
levels
can be customized
and saved
while operating
in Plateau
P1 or
Plateau
P2
modes
