Common Interface
You will see the next screen when you select "Common Interface" from the Menu.
For example ;
Slot 1 : Viaccess CAM is in the socket 1 and initialized
Slot 2 : CAM is in the socket 2 and your receiver is initializing the CAM.
The information available on the CI menu depends on the CAM provider.
Typically they will contain subscription information such as subscription duration,
accessible programs, maturity level, network information etc.
◈ Getting into CI mode during viewing mode :
Following screen will be on your display when you slide the CAM with smartcard into the
slot during viewing mode.
The message "Initializing the module.." indicate that your receiver is initializing the CAM.
If the scrambling type of current channel doesn't match up to the CAM and smartcard
being initialized now, you will see the message "not available" on your screen.
Otherwise you can enjoy the scrambled services.
