Before using for the first time
Heating up the oven for the
first time and rinsing the steam
injection system
New ovens can give off an unpleasant
smell on first use. Heating up the oven
for at least 1 hour with nothing in it will
get rid of this smell. It is a good idea to
rinse the steam injection system at the
same time.
Ensure that the kitchen is well
ventilated during this operation.
Close doors to other rooms to
prevent the smell spreading
throughout the house.
^ Remove any stickers or protective foil
from the oven and accessories.
^ Before heating the oven up, wipe the
interior with a damp cloth to remove
any dust or bits of packaging that
may have accumulated in the oven
cavity during storage and unpacking.
^ Fit the FlexiClip runners (available to
order) to the side runners and insert
all trays and the rack.
^ Switch the oven on.
The main menu will appear.
^ Select Functions ‡.
^ Select the Moisture plus d function.
The recommended temperature will
appear (160 °C).
The oven heating, lighting and cooling
fan will switch on.

^ Use the roller or the numerical
keypad to set the maximum possible
temperature of 250 °C.
^ Touch "OK".
^ Touch Automatic burst of steam.
The prompt to draw in water then
appears.
^ Fill a suitable container with the
required amount of fresh tap water.
^ Open the door.
^ Pull the water intake pipe forwards
(located below the control panel on
the left).
^ Place the end of the water intake
pipe in the water container.
^ Touch "OK".
The water intake process will begin.
