Menu Setting Procedures

13. NETWORK SET

This deals with settings related to networks.
When this unit is connected to a network, NETWORK SET is used to make settings
beforehand from the main unit but the settings that have been specified from the main unit
can also be changed from the computer. (However, LAN card settings cannot be made from
the computer.)
When a network setting is changed, the connection will be canceled and control will be switched to the main unit, so
the network settings must be done again from the computer (see p4).

IP ADDRESS

This enables the IP ADDRESS (1
What is IP ADDRESS?
An IP ADDRESS is a unique address in the IP (Internet
protocol) network for a machine or LAN connection device.
It consists of four bytes separated into a network part and a
host part.
Class A: 1 to 126 (127 is special and cannot be used)
Class B: 128.1 - 191.254
Class C: 192.0.1 - 223.225.254
Class D: special applications
Class E: special applications

SUBNET MASK

This enables the SUBNET MASK (2

What is SUBNET MASK?
A SUBNET MASK is a code consisting of an IP address part
reserved for identifying the subnetwork and a part reserved for
identifying the host. The subnet mask bits are set to "1" if they
are part of the network number and subnetwork number that is
equal to the IP address part, or to "0" if the bits that are equal
to the address are equal to the host number.
Click [SAVE] to complete the submenu settings (or changes).
