Pre-alarm recording
This function is complementary to alarm recording. When pre-
alarm recording has been set beforehand, not only will the same
image be recorded normally in the normal recording area but also
in the "alarm recording area". This means that a certain period of
the latest image will always be saved in the alarm recording area,
enabling the image immediately before the alarm to be seen when
the alarm recording is played back.

Make the pre-alarm settings on the menu screen. (See p20)

The latest image will be recorded automatically for the
specified duration and updated by being overwritten.

When an alarm recording is in operation, pre-alarm recording
is automatically suspended until it is resumed when the alarm
recording is finished.
