Mounting the device on a workbench

If a standard 19-inch rack is not available, you can place a device on a clean, flat workbench, as follows:
1. Clean the recessed areas on the chassis bottom.
2. Attach the four rubber feet to the recessed areas on the chassis bottom.
3. Place the device on the workbench.
IMPORTANT:
Avoid placing heavy objects on the device.

You can install the device in a 19-inch rack by using the following methods:
• Installing the device by using front and rear mounting
Installing the device by using front mounting brackets and a rack
