2.17.3 DVI LCD panel connector(CN7)

Digital Visual Interface (DVI) is the standard interface for high-perfor-
mance connection between PCs and Flat Panel Displays, Digital CRT dis-
plays, Projectors, and HDTV. The PCM-9581 is able to drive a DVI
connector display at a pixel resolution up to 1600 x 1200 at 85Hz.

Customer can select display type and boot number from BIOS menu
selection.

2.18 TV-out interface (CN12)

The PCM-9581 board provides TV-out function via CN12. This consists
of a 5-pin wafer box header. Output supports composite video, S-video
and SCART(RBG). TV-out generators use both NTSC and PAL for-
mats.It supports up to 1024 by 768 with full vertical and horizontal under-
scan capability.
To set up your video interface run the appropriate installation program
located on the utility disk.

2.19 Ethernet configuration (CN2, CN23)

The PCM-9581 is equipped with a high performance 32-bit PCI-bus
Ethernet interface which is fully compliant with IEEE 802.3U 10/
100Mbps CSMA/CD standards. It is supported by all major network
operating systems.
The medium type can be configured via the RSET82540.EXE or
RSET82559.EXE program included on the utility disk. (See Chapter 3 for
detailed information.)

2.19.1 100Base-T connector (CN23, PCM-9581F)

10/100Base-T connects to the PCM-9581F via an adapter cable to a 10-
pin polarized header (CN23).
