2.11.1 Audio connector (CN11)

The PCM-4825 provides all major audio signals on a 16-pin flat-
cable connector, CN11. These audio signals includes Microphone
in (mono), Line in (stereo), Line out (stereo) and Speaker out
(stereo). You will need an adapter cable if you use traditional
telephone jack connectors for these audio signals.

2.11.2 CD audio input connector (CN10)

All CD-ROM drives can provide analog audio signal output when
used as a music CD player. The CN10 on PCM-4825 is a connec-
tor to input CD audio signal into the audio controller. The audio
cable of your CD-ROM drive will be used to connect to CN10.

2.11.3 Audio amplifier power source setting (J5)

The PCM-4825 is designed to work with a single +5 V power
supply. The audio interface can also function normally using a
single +5 V power supply. The single +5 V main power supply is
provided at V
. A stable +5 V power supply is provided at
CC
7805CT 5 V via the power regulator 7805. This power supply
filters out noise from other digital circuits and provides improved
audio quality, but needs +12 V from the main power (CN12).
