Problem

About Network Camera Setup
• Enter the correct IP address on the web browser.
• IP address and Subnet Mask of the PC and the Network
Camera must be in the same class of the private IP address on
the LAN. Please refer to Page 25.
• The network congestion prevents the Top Page from
appearing quickly. Please wait for a while.
• The proxy server may prevent you from connecting directly to
the Network Camera, please set up not to use the proxy server.
For details please refer to Page 26.
• When Top Page does not appear, port no. 80 might not be
available. Please ask ISP the available port no.
• If the Top Page does not appear in the above procedure,
please press the CLEAR SETTING button and set up with the
Setup CD-ROM again.
• The procedure on Page 118 can check if the Network Camera
has a defect.
Please check an IP address by using the Setup CD-ROM. The
Network Camera List window on Page 29 can tell you the IP
address of the Network Camera.
1.
Initialise the Network Camera by pressing the CLEAR
SETTING button.
2.
Reconfigure the Network Camera.
• Please check if the standard AC adaptor PSLP1238 (Order No.
PSLP1238Z) is used.
• Please check if the Indicator Control is disabled. Please refer
to Page 81 for the Indicator Control window.
• Ethernet cable is not connected properly.
• Ethernet hub or broadband router is not working.
Internal Failure of the server or the congestion on the network
traffic in using DHCP may prevent the Network Camera from
getting the IP address. Please ask the network administrator or
ISP.
