Fit the spray head to the spray gun�

Start the machine and press the trigger�

ENGINE

Ice can form in the carburettor at low ambient temperatures� This can cause the engine to run badly or
stop� Hot air from the engine blowing towards the carburettor can rectify this problem�

STORAGE

STORING THE PUMP
Follow the instructions below if the machine is going to be stored where there is a risk of freezing�
1�
Relieve the pressure in the machine by turning off the water supply and keeping the trigger pressed
until no water comes out through the nozzle� Disconnect the delivery hose by leave the high-pres-
sure hose connected�
2�
Put the machine on its side with the inlet connection upwards�
3�
Place funnel in the inlet opening and pour in about 0�6 dl of antifreeze�
4�
Release the spark plug lead from the spark plug�
5�
Pull the starter cord a few times to distribute the antifreeze�
6�
Release the spark plug lead from the spark plug�
IMPORTANT:
Make sure that any ice in the hoses, spray gun and head has melted before starting the
machine�
Another way of reducing the risk of damage caused by freezing is as follows�
1�
Switch off the machine and disconnect the delivery hose and high-pressure hose� Press the trigger
to empty the spray gun, the spray head and hose of water�
2�
Start the machine and allow it to run for about five seconds, until no water comes out�
STORING THE ENGINE
Follow the instructions below if the machine is not going to be used for at least 30 days�
1�
Fill engine oil to the upper level mark�
2�
Empty the fuel tank, the fuel line, fuel cock and carburettor of petrol�
3�
Remove the spark plug and pour a teaspoon of fresh engine oil into the cylinder through the spark
plug hole� Pull the starter cord handle until it catches, which means that the piston is in its upper
position� Release the starter cord� In this position, both the intake and exhaust valves are closed,
which protects the cylinder from corrosion�
4�
Cover the machine and store in a dry, well-ventilated area� Never store the machine indoors where
there are sources of heat, e�g� a boiler, water heater, tumble drier or electric motors that could
emit sparks, to avoid the risk of igniting fuel fumes�
NOTE:
Use a suitable fuel additive to counteract deposits in the fuel system�
