The thermostat wil! automatically control the
temperature of the room. Select a higher number for
lower room temperature. The temperature is
selected by turning the TEMP knob to the desired
position.
The 5 or 6 position is a normal setting for average
conditions.
VENT CONTROL
The Vent Control allows the air conditionerto either
recirculate inside air (CLOSE) or exhaust air to the
outside (OPEN).
• The CLOSE position is used when maximum
cooling is desired. It may also be used for air
recirculation without cooling when the air
conditioner Lsset in the FAN position.
• The OPEN position removes stale air from the
room and exhausts it to the outside. Fresh air is
drawn into the room through normal air passages
found in homes.
• The OPEN or CLOSE position can be used with
any fan selection.

VERTICAL AIR DIRECTION CONTROL
The vertical air direction is adjusted by moving the
louver upward or downward.

Turns the air conditioner off,
Permits the medium fan speed
operation without cooling.
Permits the low fan speed operation
without cooling.
Permits cooling with the high fan
speed operation.
Permits cooling with the medium fan
speed operation.
Permits cooling with the low fan
speed operation.
DRAINAGE
First, be sure to insert the drain pipe into base pan
before installation.
The air conditioner must be installed with a slight tilt
to the outside for proper water drainage.
The air conditioner will drain the excess condensed
water through the drain pipe.
