Introduction
This manual provides the information needed to plan, install, perform initial programming,
implement, and maintain any of three configurations of the Inter-Tel
communications platform—the CS-5200, the CS-5400, and the CS-5600.
To implement the equipment and features described in this manual requires:

New Manual

This Inter-Tel 5000 Installation and Maintenance Manual (part number 835.5000) provides
information for new installations, upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting relating to
installation for release v2.4. For prior releases, refer to the documentation for that release.
All other information is now in the new Inter-Tel 5000 Features and Programming Guide (part
number 580.8006), and it covers all features, programming, diagnostics and troubleshooting,
and any other information other than installation-related. You can also find all documentation on
the Inter-Tel edGE

Intended Audience

NOTICE
To receive technical assistance from the Inter-Tel Technical Support group, you must
have the following certifications:
If you do not have these certifications, Inter-Tel Technical Support will provide assistance, but
one Technical Support Incident (TSI) will be charged.
