the master cylinder, or else your Renegade will lose control.
There must be 10mm(0.4in) free travel about the brake pedal.
Before each riding, please check the pedal can work well and can release smoothly.
Clutch pedal
The left foot clutch pedal controls the master cylinder to control the clutch. With the hydraulic clutch
control system, you can operate your Renegade easily and enjoy the riding comfortably. Press the
pedal down, you can shift the gear.

Loosen the two flange nuts M6 and the thin nut M8.

Start the engine and move the vehicle slowly, adjust the pedal until you feel the clutch works well,
then fasten the flange nut M6.
There must be 10mm(0.4in) free travel about the clutch pedal.
It's very important about the adjust of the hex bolt M6x80, if the travel of the pedal is too much
and the clutch will work in half-connection and lead to excessive wear of the clutch friction
surface. If you cannot do it yourself, please connect your local JOYNER dealer.
Although the master cylinder can push the pedal return its original position when released, the
release spring is also necessary and never remove it off.

Parking brake lever

The parking brake lever is located in the middle between the driver and passenger seats, it makes the
master cylinder provide force to control the rear two wheels to hold your Renegade from moving while
parked.
Pull the parking lever up so that the unit can engage parking brake. To release the unit, press button
in the front end of parking lever, then push the parking lever to the bottom (see Pic 6.15-Pic 6.16).
