Software Driver Information
Microsoft Windows 3.xx Software Driver Information
When using Microsoft Windows 3.0, 3.1 or 3.11, select
the Generic / Text printer driver. The Generic / Text
printer driver is the least complicated and
straightforward driver to use with the printer. Generic /
Text printer drivers only print text and cannot support
the printing of graphics. Some software may list a
Bryce or BOS driver to use with that software package.
Contact the software company for specifics on the
printer driver before using it for it may have been
written specifically for a particular model of Bryce
printer.
Microsoft Windows 95/98, NT 4.0 & XP/2000 Software
Driver Information
Printer Drivers for the aforementioned operating
systems are included with the printer. To take
advantage of the printers' graphics capabilities and of
True Type Fonts the right printer driver has to be
installed. Once the driver is installed for Windows 95/
98, NT 4.0 or XP/2000 you are ready to print text and
graphics. Use the printer drivers to also set the paper
size, margins, orientation, and to even configure some
of the printers' control panel settings. The printer
driver will override most control panel settings in the
printer.
Updating the Printer Drivers
Periodically updates of printer drivers are made available on
the World Wide Web. To obtain the most recent drivers or
additional drivers go to http://www.BryceUSA.com.
