2 Troubleshooting Procedures
Procedure 3 Replacement Check
The wireless LAN antenna, Wireless LAN card, PC board or System board may be defective.
Replace it with new one. Refer to Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures, for instructions on
how to disassemble the computer and then perform the following checks:
Check 1 Replace the wireless LAN antenna with a new one following the instructions in
Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures and test the display again. If the problem still
exists, perform Check2.
Check 2 Replace the wireless LAN card with a new one following the instructions in
Chapter 4, Replacement Procedures and test the display again. If the problem still
exists, perform Check3.
Check 3 Replace the PC board with a new one following the instructions in Chapter 4,
Replacement Procedures and test the display again. If the problem still exists,
perform Check4.
Check 3 Replace the System board with a new one following the instructions in Chapter 4,
Replacement Procedures.
