12.Remove the four rubber shock mounts from the fan mounting holes.

13.Lift up and remove the fan module from the bracket.
Replacement
1. Replace the four rubber shock mounts in the fan mounting holes.
2. Place the fan back into position and pull the rubber shock mounts through the holes.
3. Replace fan and bracket assembly inside the system unit.
4. Replace the CPU/memory card retainer using the procedure on page 4-34.
5. Replace the retaining screw used to anchor the fan support to the frame.
6. Plug in the fan power connector.
7. Replace the Micro Channel adapters using the procedure on page 4-14.
8. Connect the internal SCSI cable to the SCSI controller.
9. Place the system unit back in a vertical position.
10.Connect the cables to the Micro Channel adapters.
11. Replace the side cover using the procedure on page 4-6.
12.Replace the front cover using the procedure on page 4-3.
