opens
the
second lock valve
against
spring pressure
As this valve
opens
pressure then passes
to
apply
the band
servo
Line
pressure also
flows
to
the throttle back
up
valve
The
range
2
position
is
used
to
lock he
car
in
2nd gear preventing
upshifts
or
downshifts under
any
con
ditions
