vacuum
valve
The thennal
vacuum valve
is
made
of
plastic Consequently
care
should
be taken
to
avoid damaging
it
On
U S A models
two
valves
are
located
on
the intake manifold One
is located
on
the front side
of
the intake
mani
fold The other is located under the
rear
end of the
intake
manifold On
Canada models
the valve is located
on
the intake manifold
I Drain
engine
coolant about
one
liter
2 Disconnect
vacuum
hoses and
unscrew
the
thermal
vacuum
valve
Then the valve
can
be removed
3 Installation
is in the
reverse
sequence
of removal
a
Be
sura
to
apply
sealer
to
threads of
the valve
prior
to
installing
a new
valve

installing
a new
thermal
vacuum
valve
be
sure
that color
and
shape
are
correct
