Non-recommended originals for the Auto Document Feeder (ADF)
Setting the following types of originals in the ADF can cause misfeeds or dam-
age to the originals. Place these kinds of originals on the exposure glass instead.
• Originals of inappropriate weight or size, see above
• Stapled or clipped originals
• Perforated or torn originals
• Curled, folded, or creased originals
• Pasted originals
• Coated originals, such as thermal fax paper, art paper, aluminum foil, carbon
paper, or conductive paper
