FRAME - AI
Located on the left end of the shaft (AI-20) (inside the left
frame, AI-I2), is a small pin feed stopper (AI-34) which is adjustable
when establishing the left print-out margin using perforated multiform
paper (See para. 5.2.9.3.).
Four brackets (AI-4, 6, 8, 10) attached to the chassis frames
(AI-I, 12) support the logic/power supply printed circuit board, which
stands in a vertical position at the back of the printer.
Capacitor (AI-23) for main motor is mounted by bracket at the
bottom right of the right-hand frame (AI-I).

PAPER FEED SHAFT (AI-IS)
1.
Refer to para. 5.2.10.2 and perform paras. A and then B,
step 1 through 4 prior to removing paper feed shaft (AI-I5).
USE NEXT STEP 2. FOR REPLACING BEARING ONLY.
2.
Remove screws (AI-I9) on left frame (AI-I2) and remove
retainer holder (A) (AI-I6) with retainer (bearing) (AI-I7)
and retainer holder (B) (AI-I8).
3.
Remove screws (AI-I9) on right frame (AI-I) and remove
retainer holder (B) (AI-I8) and retainer holder (A) (AI-I6)
with retainer (D) (bearing) (AI-I7).
4.
Slip shaft through left paper feed holder (AK-20), belt
paper guides (AK-IO), and right pf holder (AK-I) to the
right, and remove.
5.
To reassemble, reverse order of disassembly.

PAPER FEED GUIDE SHAFT (AI-20)
1.
Loosen both locking knobs (AK-I8) on paper feed guide shaft
(AI-20).
2.
Remove nut (AI-22) at right end of guide shaft.
3.
Loosen allen-head screw (AI-3S) on pin feed stopper (AI-34).
4.
Remove slotted head screw (AI-2I) from left end of shaft.
5.
Slide shaft (AI-20) from the two pin feed tractors (AK-23,
24) .
6.
To re-assemble, reverse order of disassembly.
